Food Insecurity

Welcome to the Food Insecurity section of the Rhode Island Foundation ARPA Grant, a critical initiative in our ongoing efforts to combat hunger in our community. Here, CASA lawyers or social workers can reach out to friendsofricasa1978@gmail.com to initiate support for families facing food insecurity. We understand the profound impact that access to nutritious food can have on a family’s well-being, and we’re committed to providing assistance where it’s needed most. Through the collaborative efforts of dedicated volunteers and the support of local organizations like the Teamster Retiree Chapter 251, we’re working tirelessly to ensure that no family goes hungry.

We’re immensely grateful for the generosity and dedication of our community partners, who help organize and deliver essential provisions to those in need. Together, we’re not just providing meals but also fostering a stronger, more supportive community. Join us in our mission to alleviate food insecurity and ensure that every household has access to the nourishment they deserve. Your support can make a tangible difference in the lives of families struggling with hunger.
